A resource on an active client project, not just a pricing tier
We carry lines you won’t find at every showroom in Sarasota, including Verellen upholstery and other vendors we’ve built direct relationships with. Trade members get to see and source from those lines in person, not just from a catalog — see our featured brands page for what’s currently in the showroom.
There’s also a practical reason showroom access matters as much as pricing does: a client is far more likely to approve a piece they can picture in a real room than one they’re evaluating from a spec sheet. Bringing a client through our Annex in person often moves a decision along faster than any catalog could.
We also want to be genuinely useful to the designers we work with, not just a vendor. If you need a piece sourced quickly for a client project, or want to bring a client through our showroom, our team is glad to help make that happen.
Who the Trade Program Is For
We verify every applicant for a simple reason: the program is designed specifically for working design professionals, and verification is what keeps it that way. A valid credential, license, or resale certificate is all we need to confirm you’re running a legitimate design business — it’s a quick step that protects the value of the program for everyone in it.
01
Interior Designers
A current design credential, such as NCIDQ or a comparable certification, qualifies you to apply. We work with independent designers regularly and want to make sourcing easier for them, not harder.
02
Architects, Builders, and Developers
A current business license as an architect, builder, contractor, or commercial developer qualifies, along with a link to your portfolio or website showing your design work.
03
Professional Design Organization Members
Current membership in a recognized professional design organization, such as AIA, IIDA, or ASID, also satisfies our verification requirement.
04
Resale-Certified Trade Professionals
A current tax resale certificate qualifies as well, and is required separately if you intend to purchase for resale for a client.
8,000 square feet to pull from, in person
Approved Trade Program members get dedicated pricing and access to our showroom and Design Studio Annex when sourcing for a client project.
A lot of independent designers don’t have the overhead to keep a full showroom stocked, which is exactly the gap the Trade Program is meant to fill. When you need a piece that fits a client’s space and style, the Annex gives you 8,000 square feet to pull from in person rather than sourcing blind from a catalog. Sourcing accessories and special pieces out of the boutique is also very helpful at installation time.
Trade pricing and benefits are non-transferable and apply only to the approved member; they can’t be extended to clients, purchasing agents, or other third parties. Members are responsible for placing and paying for their own orders directly — we prefer not to accept payment from clients on a trade member’s behalf.
One form and one piece of verification
Submit the Trade Program Membership Application along with one of the following: a current interior design credential, a current professional design membership, a business license plus a portfolio link, or a current tax resale certificate. You can also email documentation directly to info@peckysrq.com with the subject line “Trade Program Application.”
If you intend to purchase for resale and want sales tax waived on qualifying orders, that’s handled separately; a valid resale certificate is required and subject to review, validation, and approval.
Membership is approved at our discretion, and merchandise purchased through the Trade Program is intended for use in connection with professional design services for individual clients. It isn’t for resale to the general public.
A growing program
Our Design Studio Annex, where most trade sourcing happens, is relatively new. It opened during an especially difficult stretch for Sarasota, in the same month the area was hit by two hurricanes in two weeks, which slowed things down in its first year. We’re now well into the Annex’s second year, with a growing base of trade professionals sourcing through it regularly.
That growth is part of why we built out a formal Trade Program in the first place: to give the designers, architects, and builders using the Annex a clear, straightforward way to work with us, rather than an informal arrangement that varies by who happens to be at the front desk.
